grim and brooding and resigned -- the melody at 1.40 sounds misty, victorian, and full of intrigue 
i really like how steady it is overall, the melody sort of gradually moving around with the other instruments hitting all these nice magnetic and somber harmonies! yay!
I might need to suck it up and get nanoloop 2.5 instead of nanoloop 1.5 because damn this sounds great.
