I don't make a lot of chiptune, but I like how this one came out. It got a nice response at I/O last Friday so I thought I'd share.

Composed and performed with LSDJ on a DMG-01, MicroKORG, and KP3 (for reverb).

Thanks so much, guys! I was really aiming for something more understated than most chiptunes I hear, and something a little odd-time sounding. Even when performing, it's hard for me to find the "1" count. Hah. I think I'll mess around some more.

That was really cool dude smile. I think you should make more chiptunes. It's interesting, the way you composed with LSDJ made me think of nanoloop. I like how when you used your reverb and the microkorg pads it was enough to enhance the sound without taking way the sound of the game boy or become over processed like some LSDJ songs tend to do. I really appreciate your different approach, and even if you don't make many of them I look forward to more smile

yes, the reverb is so pretty.  i like this a lot.

I love those syncopated rhythms that pick up around 17 seconds.  It's kind of like a rhythmic version of counterpoint.  The reverb really sounds nice.  It gives it a whole bunch of color!
