I've always had difficulty properly expressing the emotions and little worlds that I've created in my head.
After I got off work one night in 2012 I went outside for a cigarette and was searching around for good gameboy tracks.
That was the first night I listened to Jonathan Dunns composition of the DMG Robocop theme.
It floored me how much it effected me.
I was instantly in love and knew this is the way I was meant to make music.
A few months later I purchased my first cart and started making chiptunes.
I was amazed at how easy I found it to get all these emotions and worlds out of my head.
Its not an overstatement to say chiptunes and LSDJ changed my life and the way I make music.
Releasing several EP's within the span of a year, playing shows all over Austin, Texas and following those up releases with my first chiptunes album, things were going good.
Around 2016-2017 with the scene loosing steam I found myself very discouraged and depressed.
The last show I played in 2019 felt like a way I was saying goodbye to the chiptunes world.
Now being out of for a few years I realize how important this scene is to me and how much I've missed it.
I'm hoping to be releasing new music at the end of 2021.
