I was just looking for software that I could use on stage.
I like gameboy, but i like C64 sound more. it's more powerful.
I really love the way that LSDJ (and LGPT) are done.
Great to work with it.
I'm just disappointed that almost noone in using C64 as a musical instrument on gigs.
I think it's the problem of lacking proper software.

Plenty of people use the c64 live, whether or not it's a MIDIbox or original breadbox. 8bit weapon and ultrasyd come to mind.

I do agree though, too much emphasis on the DMG, but I remember bitching about this in 2002. I've grown to accept that it will never change. wink

it's just a DTV inside, they've been hacked for ages.  IIRC it doesn't emulate the filter, so you'd be losing a bit of the proper sound straight off.

Frankly I don't see how an LSDJ-type tracker will help you rock a c64 on stage.
There's not too much stuff to do with LSDJ 'live', really.

Yeah you can edit orderlist and tables, but so can pretty much any c64 tracker, and even easier because you have full keyboard.

probably the most demo-ish synth/instrument structure, everything is tables. its fun and you can throw it onto your gb usb cart or etc.
