I think at this point we have to question your ability to see waveforms in audio editors
one has to take into account notes that don't cut off right at the end of the phrase, but have a longer decay.
C'mon man, it's easy to cut shit out of audacity!
But I see the point, would be nice to have this option.
i've said it once and i'll say it again: piggin ain't for the lazy.
What i was hoping for was a precise stop that would give a render that is exactly x phrases long so i could easily beatchop it. I doubt my reflexes are good enough.
If you put your renders in a DAW and set the tempo to the same value as the piggy, boundaries will be sample accurate and you can chop without even looking at the waveform. Since the start is proper, you don't really care about where it ends.
@Mdash good point, i was stuck on chopping the whole render into equal pieces rather than in intervals from the start of the render
