Hi my names Noah and I go by Monotron. I've been here two years I think.
I like to play guitar and make chiptune, I'm also socially awkward.
Yup.

Hey all.
Same Type Attack Bonus, here. Also known as STAB. Outside of the internet, I operate under the name "William". I am based in New Zealand, but originally lived in England.
I have been writing chiptunes for a few months now, using MilkyTracker to do so. I have LSDJ on my gameboy, which I enjoy playing with, but I've been unable to connect my cartridge to my computer, as of yet.
I publish my music, free to download, on my Soundcloud, which can be found here: https://soundcloud.com/sametypeattackbonus
If including a link to my page on the forums is bad etiquette, I apologise. I shall edit it out if told to do so, but for now, I hope it's ok.
I'm totally new to the forums, but look forward to browsing around a bit, and hopefully getting to know some people.
Thanks for reading.
Sincerely,
Same Type Attack Bonus.

Hi. I've only just started writing chip tunes, but video game music has always had a special place in my heart growing up with a Commodore 64, NES, Genesis, etc. I can't tell you what music is used in the latest video games I've played, but I can still hear the music from Castlevania, Mario, Sonic, Contra and all that stuff in my head like it was yesterday.
I also love that shmups have made something of a comeback thanks to smartphones
I have Renoise (though Jeskola Buzz was my first tracker love) and just got an OP-1 today. It's Dr. Wave synth engine makes excellent 8-bit sounds
Hi, I'm Dave, 26 yo and I'm from Milano, Italy.
I've started writing chiptune 2 month ago with my Game Boy Color and LSDJ.
Hi guys! I'm Steve and I'm from Philadelphia. I play tuba professionally in the DC/Philly/NYC area. I'm the arranger/chiptune guy for the video game cover band Beta Test Music.
I've been fooling around with Famitracker for about 3~ years on and off, adding tracks to Beta Test's live stuff when applicable. I'm new to writing solo material, for sure. I just recently played my first ever solo Open Mic at Philly's 8static last month. I write for mostly 2a03+VRC6 and I'm working on setting up a rig so I can play off hardware soon... so I'll probably have tons of questions! I also blog about game music at http://classicalgaming.wordpress.com.
I LOVE this stuff and it's awesome that there's such a big and welcoming community out there!
Hello,
I'm a french artist who works on a project that involves upgrading of retro chiptune sounds to create an electro music with a vintage touch.
All of my tracks are original composition.
I've uploaded a few songs on this site but all of them are on my soundcloud profile

Enjoy !
(ps : sorry for my approximative English)

Hey guys, strangelove here. Been in lurk mode for awhile now and I decided I should become active in this badass forum. I've been in love with video games since I could pick up a controller and I think the first time I was ever really wowed with the music was when I got to the first Gym Leader in Pokemon Blue when it first came out. I just would start the battle and not do anything, just listen to the music for awhile.
Anywho, great to meet you all.
Hi everyone,
my name is Jonas and I am one half of a 2 People Chiptune Electro Band from Hamburg/Germany (Alex Kidd). I am producing electronic Music for a couple of years, mostly electro Pop but lately I try myself at Drum 'n' Bass and now me and my significant other trying this "chiptune-thing"
since now, we just jammed a little with some 8bit-sounding vsts but we grabbed ourselfs some Game Boys and right now we are wishfully waiting for our ordered 64m cards to start the "real thing" with lsdj
I hope we'll make fast Progress and to post some of our works in this Forum in the near future.
Greetings,
Jonas
PS: I hope my english is understandable
