I had one blue, tried it same deffect. Without it gb works perfect. But, with the blue o eI cant see nothing. It has white finish on it and there is no contrast.

Okey; please don't kill me. I just want to solve this. What's the correct voltage I should get from the 5v+ on the pcb. I'm going to read that with my multimeter and try to solve this for once and for all.

I've read 3,44v with the current connection, and the backlight disconnected. Bateries are 1.39v each now (have some use). Is that the right voltage range for the connection point?
