Moe- no.
Slice of life- All the time.

Although I'm not really ashamed of it, I love 80's and 90's anime and anime music. I also love digging out anime/manga that tried to cash in on the Mon's craze from the late 90's/early 00's.  Especially if they tried to do something different. Stuff like Alien 9 and Shadow Star Narutaru.

well their first album is proper post-punk full of blunt anger
they get spongier and more muted from that point

Guide to Devo albums in order of quality

1. Duty Now (the perfect mix of synth devo and guitar devo)
2, Freedom of Choice (almost every song is killer)
3. New Traditionalists (the best ALL SYNTH devo)
4. Oh No! (dancey as fuck)
5. Q: Are we not men? (eno made it too new wave, I like duty now cuz its more PUNK)
5.5 Hardcore vols 1 and 2 (music to piss off your mom on car trips)
6. Something for Everyone (liked it when it came out havent really listened to it in a while... some great songs some.. NOT SO GOOD)
7. E-Z Listening Disc Half the songs are better than the originals
8. Smoothnoodlemaps (the grunge record, some songs sound really angry and fresh and others just limp along)
9.  Shout (the cocaine record)
10. Total Devo (the cocaine record that was supposed to be the soundtrack for a neuromancer movie)
