Any songs in 3/4, 6/8, 5/4, or 5/8? (Page 1 of 2)

Many 6/8 is probably my favourite time sig to write in ..(or maybe it's 9/8? I dunno)

The first part starts out in 12/8 (which is basically 6/8 anyway, but twice as long). It then shifts to 9/8 at 1:29. At 2:57 it changes to 5/4.

EDIT: Yeah, to echo what Tyler said, the outro to Fast City is 7/4. The mid-section is in 6/8 though.

And this tune is even less chip than the rest, but the drums are all LGPT, and most of the tune is in 6/8, but the bridge does thing alternating time signature thing. There is plenty of chipmusic in time signatures other than 4/4. I'm completely biased but I think creating tracks in 5/4, 6/8, 7/8 etc. is a lot easier with a tracker. With a tracker you just change the length of a pattern to give you the number of beats per pattern that you want.

As practise, I would recommend programming the bass-line of Money by Pink Floyd and the the riff from Black Dog by Led Zeppelin. They both have interesting timings. The Floyd track would be a good place to start as it's simple and in in 7/8 then move onto the Zep track which is a bit more complex, I don't even think Led Zeppelin know what time signature that riff is in but it's a good exercise in programming non-4/4/ based timing.
