Zen Albatross got me onto this. I've been trying to discover if the ROM exists anywhere. Has anyone seen it before? Heard stories about it? It sounds very cool either way.

I agree, I think that the whole end scene where the pokemon all parade by would be impossible given the structure of the game. However it is possible that these people know what they are doing.
I just think that the concept of an art hack is brilliant. Using it to tell an alternate, more in depth, story line instead of replacing the main character with sonic is how hacks should be done.

Here the ratio of crazy scene hairs and lime colored pants are way down than at 8bc.
