Man, if Caanoo gets MIDI, I might have to sell my PSP.  Also I must be doing something wrong with my config, I have it set up like all of yours but still nothing.  Maybe I placed the config.xml in the wrong place?

where is it located and did you make it in a plain text editor?

Yeah I put it together in text edit.  It's in the LGPT folder that holds the eboot and all my songs and sample data.  I don't know, I swear the text is put together perfectly, it's a .xml extension, etc.

Support for a /themes dir would be pretty cool

SCREENMULT only multiplies the size of the screen in windows (and OSX/linux?).  ex. <SCREENMULT value='-2'/>  doubles that tiny little piggy window.

I remember marc mentioning that the issue with the top of the screen is actually a caanoo hardware problem. I think he plans on lowering the text so it's readable.

Ok. try this. open your xml in text edit. go to format and click on "make plain text" and save. Text edit has to be told not to work like a wordprocessor. you may not see the formatting but it is there. after that you should be ok if that is the problem.

I don't like using non black background.
How many of you use it with other colors?

I rolled with a basic black white and gray background for a long time. I also had a c64 theme and a 8bc. I recently switched from white back ground cuz it's easier to see in the dark when playing live. White was ballet for daytime use but was killer bright to look at night.

I find the white or lighter background to be bad for long tracking. Black with not so light letters and stuff are nicer.
I use mine with black with orange. Used with green letters for a long time, but with orange is pretty good to look for a long time and on shows (i'm usually drunk, so I dunno if it really help!)
