From my brief play around, that seemed to be the case. smile

I think I'm going to move to the Caanoo... I love piggin' on my PSP, but there's some quirks that are starting to bother me - lack of SD support being the main one, plus the prospect of MIDI is too exciting.

Any downsides I should be aware of before I buy?

I can't really think of any... The joystick is a bit weird in the beginning, but you'll get used to it pretty fast! You can use USB-sticks with the Caanoo, which is just awesome (I use two 8gb sticks, and they work extremely fast) and the sampleload is really fast too. Feels really great, sounds great and works great. So do it. big_smile

Might not be relevant to your interests, but don't forget all the awesome emulation on the Caanoo too! big_smile The SNES, CPS2, Sega and Neogeo emu's all work like a charm.

8GB even got Protracker running on it, in case you want to play back some modules.
