PAL or NTSC
does it matter?
Both! The interface itself is not regionalised, but can switch between PAL and NTSC mode whenever, using a MIDI CC value.
how many of these will be available ?
i want one soooo bad.
If you order one or more, there will be one or more available for you
Basically, the sooner you order one, the sooner you will secure one from this batch. I haven't set a maximum number yet.
i figured.
i know its old news, but i should be able to plug it in and it sets up as a midi device in ableton or cubase or whatever. right ?
will it come with a manual ?
It will appear as a MIDI output device in Live or whatever.
You can route MIDI data to it.
You will need to connect the audio output of the SEGA to your sound card to hear the audio output.
Yes, it will come with a manual.
But I will also be making some intro videos (i.e. basic setup, getting started, channel routing)
Correction: The manual will probably be a download rather than a physical piece of paper.
can i route it out from the sega to a mixer, so as to avoid the sound card entirely ?
Yes. It just depends on what you want to do with the audio
just sega through a mixer. ive been drooling over this for a long time.
Fair enough. You don't want to record the output of the SEGA?
ha ha ! i have a system.
i use a second computer, recording the output of the mixer, so as to free up the processor on the computer running all the midi tricks.
