WOW !
I've never heard anything like this before. Totally awesome !
So many good ideas, diverse styles and sounds used in this fusion of metal and chiptune, it even has a splattering of Jazz.
Love the total mood change interlude after the behemoth track called err. "Behemoth"
CD ordered.

Congratulations on the release Garvalf.
A very cool 1-bit ZX Beeper album in your distinctive, unique style.
Downloaded and listening as I type. My favourites are 'Vapeurs d'alcool' and 'Rotor' so far.
Also, thanks a lot for including all the source files for the tunes
Well done mate.

Hi Garvalf
Thanks for listening and your comments
I came across the songs on some old Atari ST disks in my attic a few years ago. Some were unfinished (including the Knucklebusters cover) but I thought people might like to hear them.
Knucklebusters is also by far my favourite C64 tune (I listened to it sooooo many times in the 80s). Parts of it remind me a bit of Dire Straits and I'm convinced there's an influence of Pink Floyd's 'Shine on you crazy diamond' in the psychedelic section near the end. I'd love to know how long it took Rob Hubbard to compose and his influences at the time.

A varied mix of my teenage Atari ST tunes (1988 - 1992).
Corny and very dated but may be of interest

Re: Deerbite, lofi chiptune. 1st ep out now! (20 replies, posted in Releases)
Really nice EP, very enjoyable.
"Mist Town" is by far my favourite track followed by "Break Lake". Like the idea of the limited edition cassette tape release too, I thought about doing something similar with my Beeper album, "1-bit Mechanistic".
I agree with Brother Android that "E-Waste" could maybe have been a bit shorter and for something this unusual I think most people would be interested in a per-track breakdown of the equipment or techniques used and maybe the musician's inspirations.
