nice thanks for posting, i sometime struggle to find more chillout along these lines really great album well done.

check out dream koala if ya into this

I recently picked up the production baton again maybe two months ago, but since i was starting a fresh I approached with an anti chaotic mindset, so I am deleting the song drafts that I KNOW wont go anywhere, they are stil accessible to me in previous backups in dropbox if i change my mind but they are not on my main LSDJ SAV.

On my main LSDJ SAV I have 16 songs, on average 75% finished, and for those I have spent over 125 hours so far, once they are finished I may spend the same amount getting the vocals and extra production bits done ha ha....

i just referred to a member here as "he" by automatic assumption...forgive me if i was wrong

are there many female chip producers? i get the impression it's (yet another) male dominated music genre

yeah i realised i made the mistake of thinking he meant DAW but i think he means things that can make VSTs do stuff, like arpeggiators and drum programmers etc

chipsounds is worth the money trust me. listen to

www.soundcloud.com/helgeland8bitsquad

most their sounds are from chipsounds and they have made hundreds of original tracks

sequencer depends on personal taste, ableton and fruityloops are the most user friendly, but cubase/logic/pro tools are the most professional

i think ableton comes with built in arpeggiator etc

i grew up with Reason, that is great if you learn it, but maybe not what you're lookin for for chip or VST abitlities

Cool think Eric! Keep us posted! It might end up replacing my current sequencer > arduinoboy > DMG setup for some of our tracks.
