Topic: Need some WAV channel help (1 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I'm probably the worst when it comes to the WAV channel on LSDJ.
I was wondering if anyone could give me somewhere to start or maybe tell me how to do a specific bassline I'm trying for.
https://youtu.be/0BZ5KSPrURI?t=1938
In that set, Atom uses a really insane bassline that makes the sound of a ping pong wave that does the yaowaowaowaow kinda sound but it doesnt get through the whole ping pong, it just makes the beginning sound of that bass . I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to make it something close to that, or at least give me somewhere to start.
Thanks everyone.

I thought it might be interesting to ask, "How did you become interested in Chipmusic / start making Chipmusic?". I feel like the different amounts of stories would be pretty cool.
How I got interested was almost 4 years ago when DI.FM had a Chiptune radio station and I thought I'd check it out. It was really cool to hear something much different than what I was already listening too. So I kept listening to that for a while until during the radio show I heard a track that really caught my ear (xylo ft nyhlin - subway). So I thought I'd do a bit of searching on xylo and found out that he's actually the other half of xyce. Then after that I began to really immerse myself into the music. I found out about hundreds of artists and started to build my music library. Then about a year later I dug out my old Game Boy, bought a LSDJ cartridge and started having fun.

Not really sure what category this goes in, so sorry about that if it's moved or wrong.
I was wondering what the darkened chains on the song screens mean.

I'm pretty knowledgeable at LSDJ already but I could never figure this out. Could someone help me out here?
Thanks!

Weird little opinionated question here,
In your opinion who rocks crowds, or jams out the most as a chipartist?
Videos of the rocking are great too if you have em!
I think Trey Frey is the best.

I have 2 DMG's at the moment.
One says DMG-CPU-03
the other says DMG-CPU-08
Hope this is useful.

Wondering if I could get some insight on this.
For some reason on my DMG's, whenever I use any kit's in my WAV channel and then play them in the song screen, I get a really weird harsh lazer sound. But when I play them in the phrase or chain screen they sound fine.
Now when I use my GB Pocket with kits, the song screen doesn't make that lazer sound. It only seems to do it with my bricks. Does anyone have an answer to this? Can't seem to figure it out.

If that's definitely easier do you think you could show me or link me to something similar that can show me. I already have an emulator and the rom.
