I also need help with this.

I need a ROM that lets me display a full-screen(160x144pixel) static image and can also be easily edited using YY-CHR.

Or advice on how to compile a GB ROM that can display a full-screen static image.

I want this so I can offer a better Custom/Modified ROM free service to everyone here -

Can anyone please help me out with this?

I'm still trying to figure out how to make a GB ROM from scratch.

And I don't have a ROM that lets me edit all 160x144pixels that make up a full-screen static image.

Smaller images are better for GB ROMs. The GB ROM I like to modify the most uses images 32x128pixels or less in size.

LOOMIS - Thanks for offering cash, I'll have to ask my girlfriend if I can use her paypal account. Or you can send me a Play it Loud DMG. I collect Play it Loud Game Boys.

From what I've seen Arfink offers a fantastic bespoke product at a very reasonable price.

Look for cracked solder, or anything loose.

bleepbloop carts sometimes have inherent problems that can not be fixed.

I would recommend getting an EMS 64m cart.

I use EMS 64m carts and I love them.

You can even mod an EMS 64m cart to have a page1 LED -

Keep the bleepbloop cart for GB software that doesn't require a .SAV file.

I can hook you up with a bunch of cool ROMs that don't require a save function.

PM me if your interested, OK.
