what think hybrid genres. So far think least two hybrid genre that good number Artist. that is bit pop which chip music plus vocals. then Nintendocore which is metal band+ plus chiptunes. My style which chip punk which is mix of pop punk plus chip tunes. I tend to lend heavily towards pop punk in mixture because ended up making the base too quiet. My next songs I make sure the base can be heard because it Chiptune sound. also the major innovation I did is the use of sample rate reduction for my guitar sound. It a sound not heard in nintendocore. I guess sample rate reduction sound good with barr and power chords. I guessing its not used in nintendocore because it might not sound good with metal riffs. I am thinking that what surprising me that Nintedocore is thing before chippunk because 8 bit music tends to be bright. One would think that it be used in more upbeat genres. also it seem any chippunk music is made seems to pure mistake because well there hardly any of it.

well mix into more genres. I still make chip punk. about year ago I started to bit crash my guitar to create low fi crunch when put over drive before it. it sound nice in punk. how ever am not a good musician so it not likely to catch on. emulators allow people to make chip tunes without real hard ware. I lucky enough to keep my gba around and now using that for chip tunes. What I hate is that music genre go through fads and cycle where you have up and downs. it people stuck to genre and keep make music help get alive in its down cycle.

been using combination of punk and chip tunes for awhile. I like that chip tune minimum aesthetics. I even do minimum tuning using the raw vocaloid engine as aesthetic. which vocaloid community dislikes. They really big in high produce sound to even over produce sounds over there. Problem is that still learning how to make music. So some of latest songs my melodies are whack. only one sound being I found that distorted guitar can harmonized well with square waves. punk use what you got on a budget. chip tunes start by people use what they had.

Re: Good Vocalizers? (13 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
well the cheapest vocaloid is avanna and her download is 69 dollars. the vocaloid community consider her clearest of all v3 vocaloids and is good for beginners. she is soft blank so you have use some dynamics. I use her for several songs. I tried utau but could not figure out the phonemes. since english has 40 phonemes but only 24 letters in the alphabet. all utau symbols for english phonemes make no sense.

the idea is hybrid synth. what I think I that early cpu clock speed were too slow so they had control an oscillator.
it hard for me to think of it as pulse waves but square waves of different duty cycles.
when think of pulse think of wave that decays sharply.

I know that chip tunes use olds game system and computers. what about chip analog synths that sound like old games systems. the 555 is the heart altari punk console. 555 is unique in how produces square waves and a chip that is still produce.
