plus yeah, OP: in the UK, you'd be looking at about 70GBP for either these days, and that would be fairly lucky.

(its not a tracker! and sync is fine via both teensy (i hear,) and arduinoboy (have tested))
but yeah it sure could. I mean it competes with pixelh8 performer, muddGB and the like very favourably at the moment. (ie destroys them)
For me it looks as though it could be the main rival to mGB one day (and much much more flexible)

Re: LSDJ and Nanoloop mastered, where to go next? (32 replies, posted in General Discussion)
LGPT (the best, and if u know lsdj, u know the pig, but has more stuff to "master"), picoloop, renoise, deflemask, klystrack (Win/Mac/Linux) Famitracker (mehhh) Pulsar, PR8, NTRQ, Cajones, DroNES,(NES) Mssiah p64 (c64), Protracker, OctaMED (Amiga) Maxymiser / Soundmon (Atari ST)
But you certainly havent mastered LSDJ or Nanoloop, methinks! Wheres ur tracks?!

rumpelfilter / jodybigfoot. yah yah I know it should be possible, I just missed the third page of this thread and had only been interested in arps the few times ive cracked chord out for a play. I thought id just missed how to assign notes to the other channels to make them play simutaneously.
yep arps are fine, and dev could stop and this still be a mighty useful little application.
but yeah, for me, if you could figure out how to incorporate the other pulse and the wave channel (even with the wave fixed to square or 25 / 75 % pulse width) to acheive what JodyBigfoot keeps describing (and what i was originally describing in that thread I linked pages back) it would be off the hook, add midi note triggers to these simultaneaous chords and its heaven.
Anyway, I guess mGB can acheive the chords we speak of,its just a little clunky (and no option for dpad-controlled operation)
Keep up the good work, nobody is meaning to nag you for more features Erik!
(Would love to try the iOS apps also, but sinusoid is the only one that'l work on my ancient iPad though it has been on my list for a fair while. interesting choice with the sines as opposed to more typical 2x square 1x triangle type of dealio. care to tell me anything about it? not much demo-age out there on the internet!)

so wait, there is no intention to get chord playing multiple channels per trigger (ie actual simultaneous chords?) please say it aint so Erik!

also you can save with a datasette (tape) for c64. i think people into chipmusic like to spend waay too much money on gear and not actually make any tracks with it, for he most part!

you definitely do not need pots to tweak bassline and monosynth, whoever said that doesn't know what they're on about. you navigate the params with the keyboard and alter with the joystick 1 if u lack pots!

í understand tables would be very hard.
honestly, just samples with choke groups and per-step editing of sample start, length and adsr (even without any of the psynth / drum synth/ midi ) would be absolutely amazing.
I'll record some loops i've been playing with for you!

mmm handheld raspberry pi with picoloop capturing samples from built in condenser / contact mic. I think it would replace LGPT for me almost instantly. (Apart from for midi sequencing of course,)
Hey midi out of picoloop is another idea!! Notes / CC's. Imagine the awesomeness

Ok il download the SDK and whatnot, take a look. But my C++ is lacking, I will learn some more!
I was thinking i could tweak the colours, the font / typeface and create some little icons for the parameter pages and such. Like you say its really not so sexy right now. But an awesome little tool already!
If you ever got to the stage where you could import samples, and have parameters to alter start position and sample length, I would be in heaven. Hardly any further work would be required!
