also, a tip for song mode: when you set patterns to say x8 legnth, in song mode to have that play all the way through, you need 8 slots filled with the same pattern number; if you drop different pattern numbers in the middle of that chains, then that section of the 8 bar loop will play the notes from the other pattern. does that make sense? this way the lack of patterns in a bank is not important, as you are effectively cutting between them in song mode. hope this is of some help!

and bass puddle, thats what he meant, you cant have variable pattern length at all in 1.x so how could you set up polyrhythmic patterns?

what you need to do is set some patterns to x8 length, then find the retrigger command, ht start so it becomes note delay, and then nudge your notes so they hit on the right beats instead of one note every half a bar. this is a hell of a lot better than sequencing single bar patterns in song mode, which i hate.

dry ice ep is great.

Wheres the Hiphop EP with a cup of tea on the front gone DKSTR?!
Aand, has the bear on IR been redrawn at all since you first released it? It seems.... different.

Thanks CP!

Haha yeah I think my memory fudged the details here; I could have sworn last time I was searching for the disks with the track on it, I deduced that the sniper beat was not the same as the break called sniper.

Upon asking this here question and then going back to the site you mentioned, I find out it actually is that break after all. God knows how my brain did this.

So yeah, have the beat.
Id still kinda like the track if anyones got it though smile

this is 44.1 Khz for all yall without sound engineering/ nyquists theorem/ sampling rates knowledge.
At least i think its 44.1 (lol if not)

**Okay think my memory has failed me here**
Hunting for Sniper by DJ Trace and Pete Parsons, which I technically own twice but cannot find for love nor money.
If anyone could sort me a copy of the aforementioned track il happily big you up, send you vibes or do some graphic design for you.
Tahnks

+ Reccomend me some decent Jungle/ DnB?

Always quite liked it but never got stuck in and done my homework.
Im looking for stuff with lovely sliced breaks and maybe ragga vocals as opposed to the more straight, modern DeeBee sound which is a bit boring quite often. All reccomendations appreciated!

Is there any out there that has intricately sliced breaks like the type found in Breakcore, but is actually still DnB/ Jungle (and not just for Gabber heads on a Jungle kick)

Forgive me for n00bness

huh?! maybe I am thinking of the wrong synth? sure it was a JP3X. unless the guy in the vid had a midi modded one, but I cant see how a bcr2000 would be able to program it via sysex even.

Hmm.

Would love to actually use a polivoks or something similar!

Following from me questioning the board as to their favourite synths, everyone seems to own a FB01 or some kind of 4op FM synth.

Would anyone like to do a comp (actual competition style with voting) based on these synths?

Even better, I can imagine everyone contributing 4 or so patches, then limiting the comp to only using the submitted patches (Hexawe style). Of course, people without yamaha DX/FB/TX  or NI DX7/8 woulnt really be able to do that, so guess it depends on what people who are interested acutually own.

Obvious bonus points to those using only FB01 in multi mode or sequencing with piggy (cz LGPT r0x, yo)
