okay this really needs full artwork and pressing to some kind of disk.
Im off to bask in this, notations (which ive not yet heard) and a load of spliff smoke for the rest of the afternoon
awesome, there.
wish flashbob could be somehow magiced onto the line up too!
This is fucking awesome, based only on the first 2 minutes of the first random track I opened.
Care to shed any more light on the processes used to make this album??
Brilliant stuff
you have nice things!
would love the gals fighters,
and have always longed for the green pocket, memory cart.. and earthbound zero would be lovely also.
Alas unless you want to trade something or do me a nice deal on gals fighters im unable to take any of your nice stuff!
Good show though
Score!
Just checking out some Fenton Fonic, pretty damn cool stuff!
* I dont even have a DS lite though! ha
Thanks all!
Damn, yeah im mistaking 32 patterns for 32 steps, this is a bummer. However being able to tweak stuff whilst the song sequencer is playing kinda negates it.
Dual mode is disabled on DSlite, but what about the mixer/ synth settings during song playback, are these availible by any miraculous chance?
Thanks again!
Thanks,
This contradicts what id heard earlier. Can anyone else comment?
Is anyone using DS10+ on a DS lite?
I believe it works, but am wondering if the 32 step feature of the plus edition is availible on the DS lite?
Saying that, when I had a DS10 before, I tried to download a dodgy copy of DS10+ to test out the extra feature, but could never find a working ROM; so in fact im not really sure if DS10+ really works with the DSlite at all.
Shed any light on this for me?
OK, here is a thread about this covox designed for western SampleTrackers (2.0, 2.0d, 3D and 3T) -
http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/s hp?t=43089
For me it's black magic, so if You have knowledge about soldering, schemes and electronic parts...
Then enjoy.
thanks for the infomrmation Yerz! Very cool of you to ask over at that forum for me!
Of course it could be useful! With external FX/ processing even the chippiest of micromusic tools can be used for non-micromusic electronica! Reappropriating old hardware is a big part of the appeal for many chiptuners, it seems only right that we would also reappropriate the micromusic tools for non-micromusic!
Also; Where can I get hold of covox device to play with 8 bit samples on ZX?
And, can you reccomend a place to get AY interface from? I have a ZX 48k and unfortunately a non-working spectrum+2 128k (tape drive belt is broken Im guessing)
Clearly it would be easier and cheaper to fix the +2 and use the AY inside that, but I have much fonder connection with the 48k.
But yeah, I know little of the covox devices! Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I should hit google before asking stupid questions!
And sorry for totally derailing this thread!
Do you want to buy them?
Theres nothing I really want from your list, other than a passing interest in a couple of the games.
I have little money however and am in pretty dire need of some new musical equipment, which is what Im trying to trade for!
If anything I could do with unloading some of my game collection rather than picking more up!
Would love those snes bombermans though. Damn game collecting addiction!
I wasn't suggesting that you'd be continuing down that stylistic route!
Just that, despite my love of your "pure" chip releases/ tracks, I feel the magnificence of that particular release is going to be hard to overcome! Of course comparing traditional ZX chip with post processed/ more modern forms is futile as they are distinct, but, ya know... it was just a really good release!
Do you plan on making any "classic_computers-based album with electronica in (*style other than berlin-school) type?" I sure hope so!
My vote goes for idm/drill n bass/breakcore authored in sampletracker, if you feel you're up to it!
Then again, maybe you dont even like those styles.... (and yes I realise IDM is an umbrella term and not even really a genre/ style, but im sure you get my drift)
Im sure il enjoy whatever you put out though Yerz, you got skills man.
