yeah man if you dont entirely get what they do, which you dont as you say the monome looks like it sounds better than a launchpad, then you should drop $100 on a launchpad and use the monome (nonome?) emulator for it, rather than dropping $500 for something it may take you weeks to configure (some apps can be a bitch) or may not get on with (loads of peeps i know went in for a 64 then sold it on cz they couldnt just plug it in and play.)

yep t3 said to work real well, along with TX and T5.
to summarize some info i was looking for to get into bhajis: the best pdas to get for bhajis are- the aforementioned T3, TX, T5, lifedrives, treo phones (cuz its like, a phone too) and the zire 72.
you can switch to portrait mode for some additional controll on any of the palms that dont feature the graffiti writing zone.
hope this helps someone. god bless bhajs

Re: Bhajis Loops and Microbe now Freeware! (6 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
word. despite my deep deep love for LGPT, ive got to take my hat off to bhajis. Its got to be the most powerful pocket studio ive used (and ive used most of them)
constraining notes to chosen scales then generating random notes within that range is amaaazingly cool, as well as a lot of the "per note" parameter changes as traditionally found in trackers.
also despite being way out classed by the likes of korg ds-10, microbe is a fun rebirth lite app with some really cool control of various parameters using the pda buttons, which makes for some nice live mixing tricks that you definately cant do with ds-10, and a much more fully featured fx system.
it is worth buying a cheapo palm pda for these two wares. A zire 72 seems to be the best money to power ratio to form factor ive been able to find.
Olivier is a genius with only these programs, but the shruthi-1 is next level. in a matter of days the pcbs for a whole raft of awesome new filter boards are going on sale. I need me another digital board pronto.
GO GET A PALM
