The one guy that sold them stopped selling them. Presumabely because the supply dried up. You can find a non working 101 on ebay for about 15 bucks if you look hard.
I did the mod, but I get wavy lines. I even put a glass screen protector on and everything.
You may have seen this video, but if you haven't you should check it out.
It's a really well done explanation of the Gameboy's basic hardware, and even covers some basic assembly. As someone moderately experienced in programming, I found it really clear and well done.

Dang dude. Covox is what I show people when I tell them about "Gameboy Music". The CONDOM set is probably my favorite chip release as well.
I sell it at cost price = 30 euro ex. shipping. This is because i don't want profit, but as much people have fun with it.
Have you considered open sourcing your code and schematic?
I swear there was a rule about not bumping threads for the sole purpose of bumping them, but I couldn't find it. I try to strategically bump my threads though, so I guess I'm as guilty as any. At the same time, you don't see me systematically bumping the same thread once a week for 3 months.
