And Downstate.

That's pretty cool, I can't say I understand everything you've got going on; but cool nonetheless.

Pretty sweet! Nice contribution!

Nope, I tried that too, zipping didn't help.

Wow! That's fantastic to hear; I was still doing it with external links. I like Bandcamp all the more now. that saves me the trouble of externally linking to dropbox or something.
EDIT: Scratch that; it's not letting me run a .sav file onto my album for some reason; and the documentation lists nsf's and mod's but not .sav or .lsdsng on there. I'm glad you can do it; but it hasn't propagated out to me yet.

I did it; I hope you post your findings. I also hope that findings point towards chipmusic being interesting as a medium of music rather than just nostalgia. I didn't really play a ton of older games, and even if I did I doubt the nostalgia factor would hold up too long in music choices for me.

Weird, BC has always worked so well for me.

Send an email to customer support, they were very responsive when I asked for .sav files to allowed as bonus items.

I think I'll send them an e-mail and echo that request; that would make it much easier.

Indeed. I know that I have played Zef and so has Noise Channel.

Awesome; I'm glad to hear it! Please feel free to play my stuff as often as you like!

Also try disabling any anti-virus software while you're uploading, my firewall blocked it consistently for me.

It's not being played rampant throughout the streets; but I've been on DI.fm and I've gotten on several other radio stations from time to time, mostly random late-night chiptune shows. I know a couple stations play some regularly but I don't keep up with it in detail.

Regardless then of the chipmusic distinction; what benefits would it provide for me as a small scale independent musician with a free release or two?

I'm curious; after reading through this topic I'm wondering how much a membership with a music society such as ASCAP; (in my case specifically SOCAN or other Canadian societies) could benefit chipmusicians like us. I don't imagine it could be of any significant benefit; but I'm curious if any of you have looked into the pros and cons of it in depth.

Check out Conduit, Gambit, and Stronghold.

Thanks!

As for the logo we could also ask for a donation from one of the professionalish pixel artists around here.

Looks like you've got some killer talent in on this! Thanks for dedicating your time to this good cause; I'll do what I can. Track sent.
