Aha, that may be it. You just B+select+start at any time? Didn't realize I had to commit.

Thanks

when it says "nanoloop" and you hit start or select, just hold b and hit both start and select. it'll commit and you're good.

Ok I feel like a real dingus here.. Note values showed up when I first updated but now they are gone and A+Start in the note menu doesn't seem to do anything. Which menu is one supposed to A+Start in?

You made the beat grid display so much better! I love being able to tell -when- my step pause will play and you made it crystal clear! heart (also, the note value thing is a great change.)

The rom builder isn't working for me. I put samples in a kit, clicked the check box and hit build. booted up in vba and on my flash cart and it says 000 kits... anybody know what's up or how to fix this?

Fixed: some of my samples were too long. I'm going to do some tests with graduating sample lengths to see what the max length is so I can adjust accordingly

Fixed2: Apparently it had nothing to do with length because I just passed a rather long sample I thought was problematic and everything showed up fine. must've been a glitch.

That is a very slick charger, no lie. if I could afford it, I'd grab it right up

that set of samples is awesome. I used to use them in milkytracker but iirc you can probably use the ableton live Simpler to use it as an instrument, though I'm unfortunately unseasoned in ALive or many other modern DAWs

is there any news on this project?

Add some crackle to the beginning of the track to make it sound like it's a phonograph record. That way the listening ear hears the crackles in a more artistic context tongue
