I'm trying to sync my NL 1.7.6 running on a Game Boy Colour, to a NL 2.7.9 running on a GBA SP.

I found this video, where it's said that I have to hit A+B in 2.X (2.3 was the version from the video) when hovering the bpm option.
Like in the video, the darker square stopped running through the sequencer and kept beeing at the top left.
But when I turned my GBC on with 1.7.6 in it, it didn't synchronize while they both were connected throughout a link cable.

The link cable Im using has two contacts at each end, 4 in total, 2 for GBC/GBA and 2 for DMG.

Is it maybe the kind of link cable I'm using, or is there another problem that might be the reason for the two Nanoloop versions not to sync?

Any help is appreciated smile

edit: spelling

i have a feeling that this somewhat belongs here too:

wait WUUUUUUUUUUUUUT

yeah it's sad hmm
i knew it before that he quits, because shirobon told me, but when his set ended and he said "thank you so much, there will be no more covox" it was a heartbreak sad

he will continue making music though, but under another name and other styles (as far as i know)

well, i wasn't part of the scene before 2011 so I missed all the glorious 8bc days and some of the most awesome things to happen in chiptune :<
but my personal highlights of the last years were:

- chibi-techs set at blip 2012
- the announcement of Cymba (the hype is real)
- last september there was a bleepstreet party in berlin with cTrix, henry homesweet, computadora and midi man; after the show, cTrix gave me one of his "selected works" - USB sticks and said to me "here, take this for being awesome and for putting the most action on the dancefloor" (note: i was totally super mega hyper NOT on MDMA ;-] )
- being present at Covox very last set, which was at Hyperwave 2 in London

guess that's all, looking forward to future chiptune happenings big_smile

Wow, there is a ton of fantastic work throughout this compilation. I'm stoked that I got to be a part of this. It's really refreshing to see such a broad group of artists coming together smile

That's exactly the thoughts I had while listening big_smile smile

Woo! Share it around my friends. The IOUT promotional machine is currently still on the "not tragically obnoxious" scale, so likely nobody will hear of it unless you tell them. I don't into facebook, so that's a good place to start probably. I'm going to start a soundcloud playlist too!

posted it on several facebook groups tongue

Thanks for the feedback, been working on this today on my way to university and it sounds way more structured now smile

but its still not building up to a climax, rather repetitive crunchy lo-fi loops tongue
