Thank god. That's not too bad. I'd gladly pay $150 for another.

I just paid $290 for 2 so there's that.

Oh I thought y'all were referring to EMS crashes haha

I've had good luck whenever I've tried out a Dragnderp. I need them in my life. If someone makes a clone then consider my money theirs.

I would love to sell Drag n derps! How essential is the USB? Would something like asm's fightercart fit the bill?

I don't want to have to get another adapter for a cart. USB or SD would be preferable.

I said decent.

I'm going back to EMS carts because of how trash the El Cheapos are. You don't know how many songs I've lost to the terrible UI and bugs. I would hold my breath on those USB carts being worth any salt.

Hey everyone!

I'm super late, but I released an album earlier this month featuring Infodrive and Knife City!

Check it out!

By the way what's the difference between external prosound mod and internal prosound mod?

External = you connect the pot to a new headphone/audio jack
Internal = same mod, but you use the stock 3.5mm jack already in the system

I want to add a line out mod and I have no idea should I mess with em2-em4

No need to remove EM2/EM4 if you're doing a mod that isn't internal. If you're using a different jack other than the stock one, you should be fine.

Always remove EM2 and EM4 ONLY IF you are doing internal. Those two are sort of bridges for the audio signal from the pot to the headphone jack that is already on there (if I'm remembering correctly).

I don't remember ever having to solder to ground (granted I do internal prosound), just soldering to L/R pot and then to the L/R on the other side of the board right next to the headphone jack. tbh internal is much cleaner looking and gets you the same results. It's just a bit trickier with cable management.

Noise channel will suck no matter what though haha

My question was more geared towards the actual mixing process of the vocals so that they don't sound muddy. I have a system for importing the vocals already.

Hi there!

I'm currently experimenting with DPCM and chopped vocal samples, but I don't really know how to approach pre-mixing them. In terms of EQing, normalizing, and or compression (if any), what should I do to make sure that consonants are clear and distinct without being muddy? I'm not too worried about distortion or conflicting with the triangle channel.
