There are Linux versions of GoatTracker and Little GP Tracker. Would be really cool to use them on the Pocket Chip.

Pocket Chip runs Linux ... so it should work! Not sure if any adaptations are necessary, or if it works out of the box though.

Well shit

You could always drop a GBASP LCD in there...

That is true, but judging by the issue depicted a replacement of the front board seems to be a safer, easier, and cheaper bet.

Holy shit the 2+ year bump lmao.

I'd be super interested in seeing this come to life. Every cart costs so much now a' days.

I hope for the LCD being the only bad thing, I might just look for a used DMG on a second hand market or similar thing and swap the internals.

That's what you have to do.

Unless you like being totally masochistic and try and desolder the LCD off your board.

Sounds like either the LCD is going or the mainboard is fucked.

Either way, there's no replacement for either one other than buying an entirely new gameboy off ebay.

Sorry ;-;

That's exactly my thinking. Although finding the right method is hell.

Why not transparent spray like this one: http://shop.molotow.com/en/Cans/Can-Spe … 400ml.html

PERFECT

I've done a bit of research and I found some spray tint that's meant for RC cars, but I can't find pics of it in action http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/catego … 00%7C61000

I've also seen people dye clear plastic in boiling water but that ruins the pot you use.

That may actually work. I have seen the Krylon xmetals going for more than these.

Yeah it's waaayy cheaper for sure and has a lot more variety. But then again, I still have no idea if it will be transparent or not.

maybe a transparent painting which cover the inside?

That's exactly my thinking. Although finding the right method is hell. Boiling can work but it comes out much darker.

Hey all!

So I was scrolling through meme central (aka Facebook) when I found this (obviously photoshopped) beauty.

It got me thinking. I'm sure you could tint a clear shell to any color like this.

My question is what method I should use, and what kind of dye would stick to the shell?

Thanks!

Hey all!

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma here.

I want to install some RCA's into an original GBA, but I cannot for the life of me find the exact place to solder to for pre/post pot since soldering from the wheel won't work correctly (from what I've heard).

Anybody have a guide or some sort of picture showing where the cable's supposed to go?

Thanks!
