Yeah, don't rush things, everybody here only gets better after a few years making it. It's not that fast neither easy.

Dude, I think the way you use the hop command is wrong. You say it will keep playing where there is nothing, but once it reaches the bottom it goes back to 00. You should hop to itself (i can't remember if this is right) or make a void space between the volm cmd and the hop cmd. Then it won't hop back to 00.

It would look like this:
VOLM XXXX
---- ----
HOP- 0001

This would loop from 01 to 01 forever. That's what I do anyway, I might be wrong!

PS: just checkd it, if you set it to loop to itself it works. So it should look like this

VOLM XXXX
HOP- 0001

I was about to say how awesomely long is this thread. But actually it should be closed indeed. We now have the subforum, where all the piggy loving can be made.

Uhhh isn't pretty much everything we did in the monowave compo synthesis?

Well, yes.  I really don't know why I tend to think differently of manipulating a sample of a square wave (for example) versus manipulating an oscillator generated square wave.  There's simply no difference.  It's a silly distinction really.

Actually is just not to carry those tiny square samples. Also, i love the sound of monowave but I'm too stupid to use it properly (the sounds never get as I intended....).

An oscillator is just about the confort of not having to use a sample and a better and finer manipulation of the waves, better manipulation of PWM too. Samples tend to get a bit off sometimes, using built in osc would make the task easier and would save a lot of ass to make it work better. I always tried to do some tricks I did with LSDJ (like changing the square from 25 to 50 to 75 and back and forth and whatever) but I always got myself in sounding so off that I discarded completly.
I hope I'm making myself clear, cause what I would like is a AHX-like tracker.

On the other hand, I know this was brought before and the answer was PFIN, but I would prefer a better way to do a vibrato. Or maybe I'm that stupid too.

And well, I love the piggy, these are just suggestions anyway, why not get a bit off anyway?

I dunno how you invalidate your act by doing a free stream. Are we invalidating ourselves as artists releasing stuff for free?

You guys seriously think that streaming is a stupid thing? WTF is wrong with you, guys?

I'm so close to ditching the gb's already, that would probably do it really quick, like a band-aid.  *RIIIIPPPP!!!!!*

That's what I'm saying! hehehe the piggy army conquering the world.

Also, ASRD which would lead to being able to import trackers instruments.

If someday LGPT gets the ability to synthesize (it doesn't even have to be FM) I would ditch my gameboy FOREVER.

Forget about sabrepulse tutorial, ditch the gameboy startup sound and relax.

Also don't worry about feedback, that is something you will learn with time. Craft your songs and be satisfied with it, then think about releasing it.

Seriously, take your time, don't get anxious.

Ditto what Pulselooper said! That is something really nice, it would help tremendously. I use a lot at LSDJ to mark where a song begins.

ui n00b sucada!

I tought a lot about writing some in portuguese, doing some research and stuff, but it's a work I can't handle now.

For people like me who are in a different country is totally cool! We at chippanze are thinking of doing some live streaming bimonthly. It'a an opportunity to everyone: we have a chance to show off our skills to the community, you guys have the chance to hear more from us and to know our little scene here.

I have a lot of songs that I play live that I don't have recorded. Even if it's a bedroom gig, is also a chance to hang out with the "chiptunerz" and drink some booze without worring about much.

AFAI remeber, there is not a master volume, but you would be able to sidechain using volm and filters. Just a bit more of stress to make it right

Did someone said this already?

The ability of not needing to copy the sample to a diferent folder.

With clipping I usually try to discover where the clipping is occuring and mess with the volume or other filter I might have used. Also the master volume works sometimes.
