I have a question: why the name? Sounds soooo brazilian!

'Kero' is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound a frog makes - essentially the equivalent of 'ribbit' in English. Bonito is the English name for a fish that also happens to be prevalent in Japanese cooking (bonito shavings, or katsuobushi, are key ingredients in a dashi, a stock that is integral to many Japanese dishes). The words just popped into our heads one day. Not only does the name have a nice ring to it (imho), but it conjures an image of a ribbiting bonito fish which is amusing (to us anyway).

We Googled it to make sure it was original, and the only results were Brazilian blog posts using the words 'kero' and 'bonito' seperately, so we decided that its slightly ambigious international nature served the music quite well!

Yeah! That's nice, actually, it's totally different of what I imagined.

Kero (in portuguese, i say) actually is a mispelling of "quero", which means "I want". So that's why the results were brazilian tongue
Bonito, is a portuguese word (i guess in spanish they don't say it, they say hermoso), which is "pretty".

And also, Quero-quero is a name of a bird (a pic of him) So i read as a Pretty Quero-Quero. Hahaha

Awesome, gotta listen asap!

Audiotool Sketch is a nifty thing that just came out, but it only works with devices that have dual core processors and android version 3.0 or higher.

Yeah, I just read about that on Wired. I was all excited to buy it and test it on the smartphone...

Whoa! Didn't have time to watch the video, but this would work with dingoo? That's all that matters to me haha

I never equalized any recording I did with my gameboy.
On the other hand, Pulselooper did some minor mastering on some releases I did with LGPT, nothing that changed significantly the sound, just putting the bass and the treble where they need to be.

Yeah, what Krubbz said. The speakers are so quiet and awful that it doesn't worth the trouble, since you can plug it to line in cheaper and faster than micing it.

But, if you record from bigger speakers it might make some lo-fi sense. A guitar (bass would be better) amp would do the trick.

The best gigs I ever played were not a chip night.

Obviously it doesn't work the same for every country in the world.
I guess it's time to expand it out.
