This must be very very very good!

Ok, bro! The thing is I tought it was way expensive, but your dollar is costing almost the same as a us dollar with my money (1,68 or something), when I get off of work I'm gonna do some math to see if my credit card will support me with this aquisition hahaha

Changing subject, you guys already have more releases prepared?

It's a limited run of 150 with 60 allocated to the artists which leaves 90 to sell through the site.
Of those we've already sold a bunch so I guess what I'm saying is you should be cool to wait on it for a few weeks but at the rate they are going I'd say don't wait too long. smile If you get worried I'll put one aside for you.

I'm gonna do some math, save one for me, maybe I order this or next week! \0/

There are plenty records left? I will probably buy one next month - after the 10th.

Yeah, I wish I could apologise for the expense but our Aussie dollar has just been doing so well against almost everyone else. When we costed it out it was more affordable. When our dollar goes to shit again it'll be nice and cheap for all you international folk smile

Just to state: what you and 10k are doing is really nice.

Whoa, that was way more cheaper, but still I live in Brazil. The shipping and taxes will make this really expensive. hmm

But is good to know that this exists!

Took more like 30 minutes. Love the 48 hour eps, it ain't hawaii and maison acide being my favourites.

Make the text smaller and in the foot of the art, better if it's in one row. I would say the same with the name up, but i dunno.

That's so joy division yikes

Ha ha yeah. Total Joy Division rip off. Peter Saville is a hero of mine. Not bad for a 5 minute design, I suppose.

Like Battle Lava, with my love for JD and Factory artwork, it was instant link with peter saville.

Ah thanks for the reply! I knew it was expensive, that's why it was just to satisfy my curiosity. In the future I would like to have songs of mine released on vinyl, cause I love it. The article is really nice!

I'll make you a deal... if neither of us have had our music released on vinyl by the time we're 50, we'll go halfsies on a split 7" wink

Deal!

Just out of curiosity: how can you do a vinyl release? Is it expensive? I don't even know if here have a vinyl factory.

I read a good article about it. IIRC, you should estimate about $1000 for a small batch run of 500 records... that's usually the minimum you can get done. That's 12" records on regular vinyl... the cheaper marble-like "splatter-vinyl" is made from the scraps and while it may look cool, it's much lower quality. Usually on an order like this you will be lucky if you break even, and that's if you can sell them all. So yeah, it's expensive, and not something you do in the hopes of making any money.

also you will probably need to pay for mastering because you shouldn't use the same mastering you would use for CD/digital.

edit: here's the article http://www.noiseaddicts.com/2009/02/rel … -on-vinyl/
