***********BIG NEWS*************

Please note: a MASSIVE addition to our line up for Friday night!

Henry Homesweet from the UK, will be joining an already amazing line-up, for his first ever Melbourne show. If you didn’t manage to get to Newcastle to catch the blip showcase at ElectroFringe this past weekend, this will be your only other chance to catch him in Australia.

This means we can also announce set times!

8:15pm - Derris-Kharlan
9:00pm - little-scale
9:45pm - 10k
10:30pm - Henry Homesweet
11:15pm - Bit Shifter
12:00pm - nullsleep
12:45pm - cTrix

Can’t wait to see you all on the night!

Shirts have arrived. The colours are a little more lively than we'd expected, but the shirts feel great and the print's a great size.
Will be for sale at the show (or else hit myself/Celsius up if you want one)

Oh yeah -  $20AUD at the gig (or plus postage if you want one shipped for anyone who can't make it to the show. We'll ship them as cheap as we can. Limited Sizes available, once they're gone, they're gone smile )

That's amazing. Looks like an awesome show!
I'd love to put on an outdoor gig - esp one that pulls a crowd that size!

dude you need to stop calling that school girl you keep locked in the basement syphus.  its confusing her even more than being locked in a basement by a weird english guy.  she has no idea what a tracker is or what you expect her to do with all those old computers you keep putting in front of her.

Thank you! Very early start this morning and this made me laugh so hard my co-workers gave me "looks"

I'll miss her while she's not at Soundbytes!

Also - Touche smile

I thought Fennerz is coming up to the fringe and Nevs not actually in the country for the show but I believe talkshow will be in attendance (not sure those things actually help tongue)

Sure the graphics aren't everything that they could be (although I think for people who don't have the awareness of some of the people on here might not have an issue with the quality since they don't know any better smile )  but its a fun little piece, has a nice story and has some great music on it. I wish it spent more time in 8bit mode though personally.

Oh man that's awesome. I actually think its kind of cool though, I'm not into organised religion at all but I love that they're trying to do a recruit this way. I wonder if they realised geeks were some kind of untapped market and thought 'we have to get onto that'

still laughing

Two weeks and counting down!

I have to say one of the nice things about people knowing we run SoundBytes is that any time anyone finds anything "8-bit" or "chipmusic" I get an email or a message left on facebook.

Usually they're things I've seen before, but this is the one I got today - A mini movie called 8bits. It's pretty win smile

I told them. They're cats; they ignored me

Celsius just put this on. I hadn't heard it, but it's pretty much the best thing to hit my ears in a while smile

Wait do you mean the real Beck or the Japanese Beck?

(I know Trash80 and Celsius will get this even if no one else does)

Of course a stream at 8pm Friday night in melbourne makes for some very interesting hours to be tuning in for various other places in the world

The airport is definitley the best place to hand this out. Especially if it is in different languages big_smile
