i use ableton and lsdj in my live setup.. really easy to do with a MIDI out and the arduino. you can find them around ebay, google, and just about any for chiptune sale forum.
i was a resident assistant at my old school and i stopped by some freshman's room to comment on his music tastes [he was listening to bit shifter].. we got talking and he had heard some of my stuff on 8bc. it was pretty cool. the only time in 5 years [and probably forever].
NeX was 25 and living in Sweden at the time of this interview (Jun, 2011). When asked why he left the UK he said: “I moved about 2 years ago, my girlfriend is Swedish, visiting was costly and when I lost my job in the UK the only way I could see her was by moving, so I got in my car and drove.” NeX’s gameboy modding is currently his main form of income. This interview was conducted in real time over a messenging service.
