for REAL? for REAL. Censoring a torrent of Creative Commons content?

Seems to be happening more and more lately. People losing their mediafire accounts for posting their own music, getting copyright violation warnings on their blogs for music they haven't even posted....yeah, great job LeakID. Thanks a lot.

Just discovered this last night. I sure many of you remember vgmix.com which was similar to OverClocked ReMix. The site is obviously long gone, but some one has archived many of the tunes featured on the site (and later incarnations of the site). You won't find everything ever uploaded here, but there are a lot of tunes you can download individually as well as a torrent. http://vgmixarchive.com/

R.I.P. vgmix.com

apparently it is only the songs with more than ten likes. I KNEW THE 8BC LIKES SYSTEM WAS BAD IDEA

And it's still 18GB? Weak.

NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL (LSDJ/NEED CC/CLIP) VOLUME 24

I have a feeling that pretty much describes most of the torrent.

No kids. Just got out of a long term relationship. Probably going to get a pet soon (does that count as family?)

Sometimes the best elements to spice up your compositions are surprisingly the most common. I like to use the traditional I-IV-V 12-bar blues chord progression. You can even take it a step further and throw in a II-V-I turn-around.

I often let myself be influenced by an artist or even a specific tune when I'm coming up with ideas. I'll take a tune I really like and try to emulate it to the best of my ability. Fortunately, it often comes out sounding quite different than the original, which is a good thing.

Also, I often have a sound in my head that's not influenced by anything else but the results still come out different. Sometimes I can hit the mark, sometimes I have to really work at it (or just miss it entirely) but as long as I'm satisfied with the track it's OK.

Forget chip, you should drop some frostbitten trve cvlt black metal then follow up with the "Do It In My Butt" guy from youtube.

Thirding Akihabara. Words simply cannot describe how awesome this neighborhood is. I found used Dreamcast games I just couldn't find ANYWHERE else.
