Lucky man!
Cheers to you.
Check the RECOMMENDED LINKS bit on this very forum. You'll have every Amiga resource you may find (I should update it with some more info)

arfink, interesting, redirecting the input from the serial device to a disk.
it should be fucking annoying but good for the first disk.

The program TRANSDISK is NOT part of Workbench. It's a software you download. There is no way to write an image to disk with the tools provided with Workbench. So I guess one has to use that second method. It's not THAT bad.

Then again, if you have no Workbench disk.... chicken and egg.

Wasn't Syphus working on something along these lines? Not a VST though, think it was in Processing...

Yeah but only for MOD.

I'll step up the game of Peter.

I want a tool like STJ but for the Amiga, that runs any mod that a Delitracker/Eagleplayer replayer can load.

I am using Protracker 1.3 too, 4mat. it's fine for starting.

The problem with the A500 is its lack of modern day accessories that are compatible with PC. With an A600/1200 you can get PCMCIA card readers or IDE hard drives. the A500 is a bitch.

your problem will be transferring files to/from the PC. I would use the serial transfer method as well.
But to me an A500 is pretty useless for said accessory lack reasons. So getting HOMBRE on an Amiga disk will be a problem for you. This is an egg/chicken situation. Somehow you need to sort out your first disk. Maybe someone can help you.

8580 and 6581 are not interchangeable. They use different voltages. You gonna fry one if you use different.

Yeah, what's happening with these? I was quite excited that there was actually a decent sound recording for 2008, the Glomag / Atomic video was a huge step up from the previous fests' videos.

Last I heard, they been hoarded to make a release with 2009 too, or whatever many years the "Bell House Years" end up being.
The official release from 2PP for 2008 was the 2CD audio compilation.
I personally would have liked the videos more sad

I don't know what you see as "chip community", but it seems like a very, very small subset of the actual global, real life scene, to make that statement.

spandex protrusion

I couldn't find a decent, easy enough way to make a tune.
The SN-EMU thing is terrrible, eats up too much CPU power
And I was lazy to do something with the pig, even though I selected some samples
sad

Big ups to those who submitted!
