Pricing is set, pending approval by Kitsch. These will be live very soon.

The first 6 cases are en-route to Kitsch and should be available through his web store soonish. In the next few days I'll also reveal details about how people can get their own designs laser engraved on their plastic game playing / music making devices of choice. I'll do that in a new thread when it's time.

I know if this thread happened on Neo-Geo.com forums it would be called the "NASTY BOOTS ZOMGWTFBBQ" thread. Hehe.
I much prefer CM.O's approach.

Kitsch will be selling some of my designs to start with. Hang on to your wallets, you'll have a chance to use them soon.

Would you be up to trying this on a gameboy advance SP case? I'd love to get one done
A GBA SP case would be a piece of cake. It's completely flat.

Yeah, vectors. I use Inkscape, personally.
As for a Dew themed case, I'd be happy to, but not as my first green case.
Anyways, tomorrow I'll be able to test some on the clear cases, and I'm going to go as low as I possibly can with the power and still leave marks on the cases and see what I can do to avoid as much of the melting problem as humanly possible. I think with this plastic it may just wind up having a little bit of melt, which is fine.
On an side tangent: It's entirely possible that the bromine increases the plastic's resistance to heat. Seems logical.

@Thursday yes, that is indeed the plan. This particular kind of plastic that Kitsch is using for his cases seems to be insanely heat sensitive, even compare to, say, regular Gameboy cases. The black is especially touchy. We'll see what the clear ones do, they're next...

New design ideas: roses and thorns (and maybe skulls?) for the blue transparent DMG case, and IDK about the green one. Still pondering.

I'm not totally solid on custom pricing just yet. The price on these is about 1/2 design time and 1/2 machine time. It would really depend on a lot of factors. But I'm thinking some place between $40 and $70, depending on how crazy you wanted to get.

Oddly enough, the backs of the cases are finicky and a huge pita to engrave, but the fronts never seem to have any problems at all. I think it might be because of the backs having the depth changing all over the place, it makes it hard to predict. I'm getting close to satisfied with it, and so far it seems to be more under control now. Also, the white cases get an amazing golden tinge to them when engraved.
I have come to the conclusion that ABS just kinda does whatever the heck it wants when engraved. That's not all bad.
Anyways, more case work another day. I'm worn out, and the workshop smells bad.

Well, further testing indicates that the shiny spot on the back of the case where the label would go is perhaps the most susceptible to blowing out. I may just route around it with all my future designs to avoid issues. Working on a couple more cases, and I hope to have a couple more pics before too much longer.
