it shouldnt matter, and if you notice there's static or feedback, then use the gnd from the pot. no biggie

i actually did mine out of plexiglass and banana lugs. my first sk1 used rca's, but instead of the ground being ground i used it as a second patch that sk1 did fry though after about 4 or 5 hours of use though... rip swayzeK-1

@Ape, are you planning on using an atmega168 or the 328? are you planning to have all the 23 I/O's in the final design? i think something like 13 is required. i've been pondering this idea for a while too
