I had issues with motivation plenty of times. Sometimes all it takes is changing it up a bit. Try something new or get into another creative activity. Often its the start of a project that takes the most time. once you are in a state of flow you will usually get the bulk of it finished quickly. Finishing and polishing it up takes a bit of time as well. by that point however the pride and satisfaction are usually potent enough to let you coast the rest of the way through.

OK, so I'm planning on creating a series of screencasts / demo videos over this weekend - here is what I have planned so far:
1) Basic setup / connecting it up / channel mapping (applies to any DAW)
2) Channel mapping / how to control parameters via MIDI CC (in Live - but applies to any DAW)
3) GenMDM FM channel strip - overview and setup (Max for Live only)
4) Using the DAC channel (in Live -applies to any DAW)
5) GenMDM DAC channel strip - (Max for Live only)
Is there anything else that people would like me to cover while I am at it?

just so we could see your process? I am still learning ableton so maybe I could learn a trick or two.
I have Livid block and code. their software is not very user friendly. I mainly just assign buttons and knobs in ableton live. The thing is that I do not think there is a way to assign midi cc messages to knobs in ableton live... unless you guys know of a way. Looks really easy with that max effect strip... how hard is it to create such a device in max for live? I would love a way to make a midines effects strip somehow. then I could easily assign my knobs to midi cc messages....
I have no idea how to map CC messages to my midi controller.
