I'm having some problems with the Max for Live devices though, they keep crashing. Has anyone had a similar problem?
Symptoms:
I set up the devices as they should be (on MIDI tracks routed to GEN MDM) and tweak the knobs. No change in audio. If I click on "FM OP 2" (tabs on a blank window in the Global Strip) then Live eventually crashes/beachballs.
Anyone got any advice? I can't wait to play with this properly.
I uninstalled/reinstalled Max + Ableton and it's still happening. I haven't been able to alter the sound via Max For Live devices at all.
EDIT: Just tried on my laptop and it works fine. Need to ProSound my Mega Drive!
Please try the new versions of the GenMDM tools and let me know if this still happens!
I've updated the GenMDM tools for Max for Live.
The updates include:
• A new GUI for the FM editor
• Added a "data dump" button that can be pressed in the GUI or it can be activated by sending a note-on 127
• The idea with the data dump is that multiple MIDI tracks in Live with different settings can be fed into the one GenMDM MIDI channel - and settings can be dumped dynamically as a song plays back• Increased reliability / stability
• Fixed a bug that caused delays at times with MIDI data
• Fixed a bug that caused dropouts at times with MIDI data

When I saw the title of this thread I was really hoping for a CPS1 / CPS2 board hybrid rack mounted device with MIDI USB input capabilities and an SD card slot.
I am going to attempt to build another 10 units over the next few days - I'll keep you all updated.

Kalle, I do know that at least one unit arrived in the USA yesterday. You should get yours today or tomorrow. 
I soldered another 20 units. I just have to finish putting the caps on the carts, and then test them all. They will be going out on Monday (Australia time) which is Sunday (USA time).
And yes, I sent it to China.
I've sent out emails to each individual as units are being shipped.
