oh yeah, one more thing..stay away from single coil pickups or people will say you sound like the strokes or something

I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that...

Here's some songs I think we're adding to the EP. We're also going to try and re-eq the other songs to match these a bit better.

I know!!!!!

Fun Rock show for anyone in the are who didn't face themselves on New Years Eve.
It's D&Ds second time in GSO, but first ever show with anything Nintendo or chip related.

Mixed Signalzz:
"AnneMarie and Ben will make you giggle and want to do whiskey slaps, reminisce about bad/good dates and creeps, eat flap jacks and rub a fat cats' bellies and get the fuck down to some cuteness like you know you want to."
These guys rock on on MPC (mario paints) and micro korg and more... It's like the cutest this ever. Freaking adorable.

And D&D Sluggers:
"Soultron and Hyphen will completely rock your socks off with chip tune shananigans with their Nintendo DS, guitar and keys."
Korg DS10 gets nearly abused and combined with nasty synth, noisy guitar and vocals that shame boy bands. Fun is the funnest.
So much fun.

It's even a cool venue!

Knock them dead man!!!

My duo might be up that way in march (by way of NYC/possibly Boston), but that's probably spring/Easter break for most students.

Which mackie is that?

Plain jane 1202-vlz. I use it to equalize and keep the volumes even. Does the job and was free... well, not exactly, but it's a long story.

Here's what I use in D&D Sluggers.

DSi and DS w/ DS10+,DMG w/ LSDJ all running into the Mackie mixer.
It's all in a guitar case (for easy set up). The light looks awful, but I need it.
I was thinking about getting a miniKP, but I might try Moog Filtatron instead.

edit -  just found out I can use beat.maker on my ipod touch as a pad sampler. scandalous.

I got an ipod touch with Moog Filtatron, Beatmaker, Nanostudio and few other apps on it.
Pretty fun so far.

Can't believe I forgot about this guy. He is usually pretty on, it's a good review and demo.
