oh i really thought WINUAE is just a way of setting up hard drive for an amiga. Since thats all i need to do. Now i see its a full operating system for windows, that replicates an amiga. haha oops !

I have a 4000.. which I believe is kickstart 3.0 ... I just could never get that tracker to work... sad   Have you used it before?

I MUST get Art of Noise to work one of these days!!!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!

I use that same preamp, peter ... the dbx 386. And I ditched patch bays years ago, due to them always added noise to the signal, no matter which ones I tried. I dont mind just plugging in everything manually for each use, if it cuts down on some signal noise....

What up Akira !!

I am going to purchase the CF reader for the amiga 4000 soon. I was wondering about installing Workbench 3.1.... I found the .ADF file for the workbench install disks... But I was wondering the compatibility for the amiga disks (880k, or whatever they are) with windows... Would windows be able to write the image file to an amiga disk? my other question is where to get some WB3.1 install disk other than ebay. Or if you have any other suggestions on installing workbench... thanks!!

it was awesome. I got to play with bit mummy, minusbaby with dj big wiz, 8gb and glomag. crazy.

Sent! smile

track is done and recorded.. just touching it up.. and will send within the next 24 hours. smile

In an ideal world I'd use the Opl for leads and pads and back up drums with something more analog.

Well have fun syncing stuff with adlib tracker !!! smile  I even mix down the separate channels from adlib tracker II, and they are not in sync with each other... they fall slightly off beat by the end of the song... so there is something funky goin on with the at2 clock I guess... So thats why I play live drums over it most of the time..

You can always just line the drums up manually with it, in any multitracker I guess...

But seriously there are a few opl3 fans here, Oxygenstar probably the most knowledgeable, throw up any questions and we will try and help. Also, watch o2*s tutorial on YT

Thanks for the OPL3 shoutout !!! smile  And yes I am here to help anyone out the best I can.

and did you see boomlinde, my first reply to your comment? I was in the wrong mindset for that forum, and typed in all lowercase, and i think i used the word "sucks" to describe my fm snare sound. So that got deleted within a couple hours.... I really need to stop posting on soundshock...  sad  they just dont like my sophomoric behavior.

SOLD !!!!!  smile
