That's a nice unit! I'm a PC, so firewire is a stretch for me. But that really is a nice piece of equipment. Mackie gear is always great.

My album didn't make the release list!

In all seriousness though, glad to see First Crush made the list. I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out.

@Moriokun I have looked at that very mixer. Nice to get a first-hand review. It's where I will probably end up. Low on cash and short on time at the moment, so something quick and simple is where im stuck unfortunately.

Would love to get in on this!
All this time and I've never had a backlight. Works for me!

Are those Gameboys not.......backlit?

Never been able to afford back-lighting.
Tried to do it myself once, but that went terribly. lol

Loving that first link. Will probably end up going that route. (TBH will probably get both in time.)
thank you for the advice!

So my mixer finally died on me.
I have shows coming up starting Feb 3rd, and desperately need to get a new one.
I don't need anything fancy, nothing more than levels control really.

that being said, I was wondering if anyone out there had ever used the Behringer MX400 Compact before.  http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MX400.aspx
It's simple. It's inexpensive. and it can be here in time for my shows. BUT I don't want to blow $$ for something that suck, or just flat-out not work.

My live set consists of 2 DMGS (linked) and and effects controller.
So 4 channels is plenty.

Thoughts? concerns?

Thanks guys

I'm in the mood for some live footage!

I'm only a few hours from LA. Would love to play, but travel would have to be paid.

Very cool. Thank you for the links and advice guys!
I've got 3 or 4 shows coming up in the next 2 months, and I'll be sure to post up some video so you can take a look at what I end up with!

crude yet sexy big_smile

So I am in desperate need of adding visuals of some kind to my live set.
I am, however, without an artist capable of doing live visuals with me.

That being said, is there something (software, etc) that I could use to automate visuals via projector?

thanks for the help
