Ok, i get that, I guess what i'm just a bit jaded about how much chipmusicians as a whole (IMO) are worried about people liking their music. It's chipmusic. It's inherently strange. Just do what you do and have fun doing it would be my advice.

Also, I highly recommend playing the most random shows possible, you'd be surprised who would like your tunes. Art galleries, house parties, club nights, street corners, whatever. If you really get into it and have a fun time, who gives a shit if the regulars like it?
