What do you mean you don't have it configured properly (there's not much to configure)

what  did you try to run on it?

(Im not sure but isn't Vice a better option on OSX, if you have an Intel processor??)

what you can do also, is to temporarly remove the floppy drive from the ST and install it in your PC (if you have a desktop PC of course) to copy your files. then put it back int the ST.

The advantages of trackers is that you can already train using a emulator smile

And using SID based expanders (like HS4U, with Goattracker or the Vice emulator) , you can get the "Real" C64 sound without having to use older hardware (apart from the SID chips of course.. get ready for your Ebay account)) smile

But I admit that playing around with a good old C64 and a 1541 drive is also fun and Messiah seems t be a real cool hardware kit .

This plus an Elektron Octatrack... well.. I'll have to find another planet if I don't want my banker to kill me smile

There's Farbrasusch VST systems

Not sure for 4K but I think it's usable for small realtime stuff (it creates the data file for the intro  from the sequence done in the VST host)

Was about to ask for the diff between tracker and editor but had my answer (I originally thought Tracker would be "digi" based) smile

Hi there,

is there a converter fro .snd to .ym running on Atari computers.. I tried the rendering tools in Hatari and SainT but the result is sometimes dodgy, and unfortunately , I can't use a .sndh replayer in flash...

Cheers

Yes OSX driver for HardSID would rule but I don't think it's going to happen. sad

The guy doing the devices refuses to for some reasons.. but there could be some hacker somewhere able to sniff the USB comms on a PC and recreate a driver on OSX... (I wish I had the time and knowledge to do it... smile)
