Hmm, does SU10 have both midi in & out? As in feed master clock to it and then SU sends notes to another synth? If so, I'm interested if you're willing to ship to Finland:)

This, if I play with laptop. Although for live setting, Numerology is even better and it looks pretty interesting live too.

I think there's a difference between taking yourself seriously and taking your music seriously.
i take my music seriously, enough to spend a lot on it for vinyl/transport/instrumentation all that, to put my time and hardwork into it, to get in fights with my girlfriend over touring.
What i dont take seriously is myself when dealing with my music, based off album covers im half man, half whale. i wear home made godinpants t shirts and strange hats(not so much lately on that one). and i think the attitude is largely the same in a lot of other people.
i know 10k takes incredible pride in the production values of his music, ive seen mixing/recording going down. but on stage, its almost like the music is a vehicle for comedy in between and during songs.
abortifacient gets all dressed up in corpse paint and ken dole shirts, adamgetsawesome still uses a picture of himself as a cardboard robot, even anamanaguchi do some really hi-fi recording, and combine it with art from paul robertson, who himself does some amazing drawings that just cannot be taken seriously.

I think having that space really helps people engage with what you're doing, it makes things memorable and more enjoyable.

Kinda Off topic:

This is really interesting and has been popping up every now and then at different places (school, in conversations with other musicians) and I've been thinking it a lot. I'm all for jokes, silly costumes, and stupid shit but ALSO I feel like too often people just hide behind that, like they are too scared to try to tell something with their music. Lot of people do take the production part seriously but artistic side is often something that nobody wants shed light to. Why he/she did it, what is that song about, what is my message I want to get across to people, etc. I dont feel that everything needs to be explained or has to be serious but having a "I'm just fucking around lol" attitude all the time just shows you'ra a coward and takes away your artistic credibility.. There's a pretty big spectrum somewhere between being an annoying tormented artist and being just a retarded-joke with no real depth.

And of course this isn't aimed to you, but your text (+likelukes) was something that got me thinking:)

That being said, the girl is pretty cute, video is technically very well edited but promoting it here was a wrong move. Also I think making a promo movie for 3 song release is kinda overkill.

This was fucking awesome, loved all those vocal samples + possibly live speaks? Banging music, this translates very well to people outside chipscene too.

This is damn fresh.

fresh is the word! whats the song from minute 28 on?-really digging this joint!

Haha, thats my take on summer house/whatever kind of song with lots of cowbells. It has a really long buildup that you can hear littlebit before 28:00 or so but I cut out for sake of keeping this shorter.

BTW, your IV & Extended Module Jam have been on heavy rotation for me for whole year, nice to hear you like this!

Thanks man!

I'll upload the track again, there was weird drop of audio in the first one. Soundcloud has removed replace track-function from regular users, shiit..hopefully the link stays the same.

Edit: Now its fixed, had somehow turned the track off for one second in Live tongue  Oh yeah, its easy to notice the points where I clipped out just some jamming to keep the mix shorter, but basically I'm prepared to play these songs (+ couple of other ones) however I want in what ever order and mash them up too pretty easily.

Hello people! This is some new stuff from me for your boomboxes and walkmans for this summer. 33 minutes of my new material in raw, noisy mix played live (hardware only). I like my previous albums still much, but problem is that the songs are kinda difficult to play live so that it would be interesting for me and audience. So these songs are made with liveplaying in mind. They still are very much in evolving progress but I wanted to share this because I have gigs coming and I want to have something up what I'm going to play.

Cover art by my good buddies Kef, VJ Ihmelaama & Fossa.

What the fuck is the zone? I never really played a gameboy when I was growing up... LSDJ is nothing like super mario land but I guess super mario land took a lot more effort to feel accomplished and you couldn't post your shitty results on the internet.

Good stuff, title track destroys. That and PJILLST are my favourites, this is so intense that its actually nice that its so compact in length.

Get contacts to other people in your local/nearly local electronic music (dont be snobbish unless you really want to) scene, play opening slots to them, drink beers with them, whatever. I've always believed that good things happen to good people and people tend to remember people who are fun to hang around with.

I picture that in UK it wouldnt be too hard to get involved with people. YMCA shows and traditional pub shows to pub crowd or something sound weird to me but then again things are different in every country..also if something wont happen now, next year you're 18 and ready to go to play at least some venues, right? But if would have only one thing to say, I would say the key to get gigs is to know people, key to get your music listened, thats a lot harder/random thing.
