How teh hell you find time to make this AND a videovalvontaa rlease? You are a madman big_smile

I got some new toys that inspired me quite a lot (Launchpad<3)
But it was a quite a month, doing this and Videovalvontaa and work and blah. Of course Ville did lots of work with VV release so it's like release and a half for me:)

Gonna check this tomorrow properly, my brain is overloaded with RPM-related stuff atm, but Daily Doser EP sounded really good!

DKSTR - Lazy Days

Stream/download (with pdf):

It's done!

11 summery songs that you can blast on your ghettoblaster while sitting in the park and drinking some beers. It's not very chip but I hope it's ok to share it here. Album has tons of samples from old music from 1920's to 1940's, all the sampled songs were from archive.org and considered open source audio or public domain audio, I hope that other people also check out the original songs. I approached this record in instrumental hip hop-way and thought this type of sampling is really big part of that genre.

Other equipment was my standard Casios, Yamaha keytar and JVC keyboard + some acoustic instruments like guitar and melodica and even some singing.

If anyone knows any good forums/sites where I could promote this, please tell! Enjoy!

Finally finished, phew! Gonna release this tomorrow, yay! It isn't chip but very lofi with my keyboards and lots of old 1920-30's music sampled, so I think I'm going to post it to the release section and see what people say..

Glad I checked this out, two opening songs are my favourites, also titletrack is way rad! Found's beginning reminds me tons of Blink 182's Always, but that's just a cool thing.

Too bad I cant check out the story atm, I'm at work and dont want to download much of stuff here.

My 2 Robodads, holy shit I've totally forgot him. Great stuff.

My gf took this for my RPM album sleeveart so they are pretty artsy, haha.

But really not so far from truth, I sit on our carpet, drink coffee and try to write some music.

the Launchpad in the briefcase is really great!

That is just a prop but I really liked to play it in that angle, gotta find a proper sized briefcase for it, the one in the picture is lil bit too small:(

First in a series // Still a WIP

This is badass. I love drawing houses, making this sort of stuff for a game I'm working on, maybe posting pics later (nothing compared to this though).

EmThrees houses rule too!

while we're on the topic of ableton and how great it is, did anyone use any video tutorials about how to use it or anything? something like that i know would be helpful to m, just in terms of how the things works.

Have you checked out it's own built-in tutorials? They are really good to get to know the workflow of things in Live. I readed those and after that I've just googled around whenever there's something I dont understand.

- Stability (it has crashed on me like 2 times on my 3-4 years of use)
- good internal effects
- UI is one of the best i know
- slicing/manipulating audio is pretty fast with it

In some ways I think the whole session/writing your song down could be lil bit better.

Cool coverart, even if it reminds me a bit of NIN - Ghosts:)

Gonna download this now.

My own album is kinda done but I want to cut out the bad parts from here and there, since songs are just jammed with my new Launchpad. Liking the results though.

Videovalvontaa songs are pretty crazy too!
