I'm on PC so not sure for Mac but I know there are threads here with Oliver's input that may help

It's the same command prompt program as the data send/receive, you just give it the command line "nlmidi04 -sync", and you should be good to go.
That ^ and did you run the Nl midi software on the mac to set it to sync?
When I first tried playing guitar while frying I couldn't even feel the strings more or less play.
But after a lot more LSD and time I was able to play perfect 1/16th notes for an hour straight-a feat I could never achieve sober. Point is, it just takes practice. Of course writing and playing are 2 different things....
Yes the Nl adaptor works with lsdj
I had the same problem but went back to ver. 2.54 and use the original nlusb program and all is well.
