Hmm, I think it'd have to be Rise.

Got together with a buddy to do this one w/ guitar and percussion. Became a very involved process, though we genuinely jammed out and had so much fun performing it.

Started arranging music with punk-o-matic in the 90s. Hilarious sample arranger thing.

Then started using garageband, logic, etc. Started chip on famitracker.

Would agree on the oscilloscope. You would need the ability to playback the phrase from the synthesis screen if the realtime oscilloscope were situated there. Otherwise, a stationary snapshot of what the waveform would look like before playing could be cool... ya.

This album gets me sooooo hype, it's actually a scary thing. I should not want to thrash around during a 930 AM commute lol
local highway was completely jammed at 7am, people were pissed, and I was going nuts to this cd on full blast.
Life is so good for chippers.

Re: Chipmusic Donations. (22 replies, posted in Bugs and Requests)
well i don't really know either but there was a chiptunes website before this one that was popular and the guy who ran it dropped out of university to turn it into a company and then started doing wild and desperate things to keep the money coming in that hurt the community and made everyone come here instead and it was a bad and not fun time in internet chiptunes land so maybe it is something to do with that
I think this is the clearest explanation I've ever gotten for the downfall of 8bc, and the chiphip migration.
Ya, I'd donate, but I get the vibe that this thing's a community project that wants to remain nourished by the quality of its members' musical and technical (etc) contributions, rather than monetary support.

It is a heavy task to be done in the Genesis, if Defle and Prodigy will be compatible, you can use this:
MIDI 2 DefleMask
So a good way could be: MIDI -> Defle -> DMF -> Prodigy.
This would be cool with me. Just having the option to import dmf's would be awesome.

Looking forward to all the development!
Also, I just donated. Thought I'd get behind this awesome FM project as much as I can. Keep it up

Cool! Was just wondering:) I totally understand the enharmonic spelling of notes. It's for that reason that I thought it might be awkward for someone (maybe it's just me) writing an Gb major chord with F# as its root, but this has always been the case with LSDJ, as you mentioned. It'd be sweet, in my humble opinion, one day to have a tracker with the option to write enharmonic spellings (F# or Gb).
Don't get me wrong, I love that there's variety here! Keep up the great work... I'm so excited for the many hours I'll spend on my genesis tracking music:)

OMG. City of Mediocrity has always been a fav of mine from 8bc days. Love to hear it changed up a bit/properly mixed on this release.
This album is freaking fantastic. You're right, dolores is tensely epic.
