just a quick video showing LSDJ on the Wii.

I was surprised by the quality of the sound (not the random noises that I put in to demonstrate the concept).

It definitely sounds better than the DS emulation I've been hearing so much of recently. But yea, I appreciate that you can't take your TV and Wii on the train with you to make music.

The Reed Ghazala book is good. He doesn't assume you know anything about electronics, and he clearly lays out all the gear you need to get started. It also has an appendix full of detailed diagrams of various bends for easy-to-acquire devices (like Speak & Spells and Casio SK-1s).

I learnt about this guy back when I was at university in Leeds in 2002. Here is a link to his website with more info. Really interesting guy: http://www.anti-theory.com/

Before you get Pamplemousse (thanks pals), you (and everyone else) really have to get peeR's Dances, it's really nothing short of a masterpiece, by far my favourite chipmusic release.

The sampler is clearly the most unique and brilliant feature. Record your very own improvised BRK? Yes please smile

With nanoloop for iPhone, you can send your saved projects to other nanoloop users via e-mail. If nanoloop is installed on the recipient's iPhone / iPod, she/he can simply tap on the file name in the received e-mail to start nanoloop and import the attached file so that it is available for editing.

Whoa, that's pretty neat right there. Opens up the chance for collaboration on songs. wink
