Haha, I thought I was in the minority of people messing around with Cheesecutter. I remember having to sign up into the facebook group just to get a copy

Hahaha, hilarious but I definitely think it's a bullshit. Not only would it be amazing that he's using Renoise, but he'd be actively using a computer and subsequently, torrent programs to even do this. He's once again trolling the exact fanbase that would follow him the most and in effect, would get the most pissed off at the idea of stealing software

Very cool. This is essentially the tape loop approach to how many guys made dub. If you could multi-out into a mixer with aux sends, then you could get even crazier

No one told Jimi Hendrix that he had to use a guitar and play a genre called rock.
Actually this totally happened though. LOL

I like it, but yeah:
It's hardly a new genre or style of music if it's barely even recognized. It certainly doesn't seem to be recognized by people outside the demoscene.

I think it's fun and super featured for iOS but editing patterns and notes was really clumsy to me, even basic stuff like cut/slice/copy/paste and zooming

This was awesome man. I was feeling a bit wrecked from the heat by the point this performance was going on so instead of being up and hanging with everyone on the floor, I just went back to the couch and vibed on it by myself. I'm actually glad I did to be honest - I paid more attention to the interaction between the visuals and the mood of the music I think. It was a really cool feel of chilling beats all around and I hope to hear more soon !

Re: Adding Bass Booster pedal (or any other pedal) to your gear (14 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
Depends what you're adding it to - I think on the gameboy it might sound like butts to be honest, because the gameboy already has ridiculous amounts of bass
Also modern EDM in general doesn't tend to be all ridiculous low end on the whole track, but pumping mid range content against a snappy thick kick - extreme low end energy is used as an effect but not constantly throughout the songs
